Kenya hosts in its northern region the Marsabit National Park, a mountainous area where the original habitats of Arabica coffee plant survive.
Most of production consists of washed coffee, characterized by a fruity taste, medium-high acidity and a good body.
The choice of Kenya was to reward quality. Every commercialized coffee is tasted by an internal committee (Kenia Coffee Board) and by exporters, to guarantee the exit of the best lots only, with few or without defects.
